Becoming Mama offers a nurturing 6-Week baby massage course, designed to help promote bonding with your baby, give you the skills to massage with confidence, and to become part of your postnatal support network. The course is baby-led, welcoming, and can provide emotional and practical support after any birth experience. Suitable from 6 weeks - 6 months.

Antenatal Preparation
How are you planning to feed your baby? How have you prepared? You may have heard that breastfeeding is 'natural', but that rarely means it is easy. I am passionate about helping you prepare in advance, so that you are feeling capable, confident and ready for this next stage.

Postnatal Support
As a Private Midwife I offer personalised care in your home, during the first 8 weeks of your new family life. Your NHS midwife appointments usually cover the first 10 days following birth, and this is where I come in. Having undertaken extensive additional training in breastfeeding (including Mindful Breastfeeding techniques) I focus on in-depth support and am passionate about empowering you to feel positive, confident and able to trust your instincts as a mother, with the practical techniques you need.

How you feel about your birth matters. Your experience has the potential to impact on you for a long time to come, possibly in many different ways, and a chance to share and discuss this with someone who has undivided time for you, really wants to listen, and understands your perspective can be invaluable. I offer Birth Debriefs that are unique to you, emotion-focussed, with compassion at the centre. An opportunity to feel safe, to talk, process the memories, and take time for you.
Offered either in the comfort of your home, or on a rural walk together.
Tummy Time is integral to your baby's development and this course covers the principles & history, benefits, position options, and fun techniques that are appropriate for the age & stage of your baby, using interactive props and songs.
This 3-Week course is oh so practical, key for development and fun at the same time! In an informal & sociable environment, you will learn ways to support the strengthening of their muscles, help visual focus, promote gross motor skills, minimise a flat spot forming on the head, and plenty of play ideas.
Suitable from Birth - 5/6 months.

This is FREE community-based walk for parents/carers and parents-to-be. A relaxed way to meet other local parents, get outside with bumps and/or little ones, and explore our beautiful local area whilst having a chat!

This is FREE parent & baby meet-up. Come along to the Garden Centre, grab a coffee and some of their delicious cake, and wake up for the week whilst chatting to fellow new parents in the local area!

Developed with a Registered Associate Nutritionist, and aimed at supporting your baby to develop a healthy relationship with food, whilst enjoying mealtimes as a family. A zero stress approach!
