As a Lactation Consultant I am welcoming appointments in my Infant Feeding Clinic to support you in your feeding journey - whatever that looks like for you, and at any stage. This clinic is opening in the centre of Thame on 18th September 2025.
Perhaps breastfeeding hurts, you are having trouble with latching, you have nipple damage, you are combining breastfeeding and bottle feeding, you are spending time pumping, or worrying about supply, you would like to try different positions, or to plan for your return to work, perhaps you would like to wean and aren't sure how..... Through in-depth, personalised support, I am passionate about helping you to feel positive, confident and to have the practical techniques you need. Head to my booking page to find out the options and what is included.
Antenatal Consultations also available.
I have been teaching the KG Hypnobirthing method since 2017... and there are many of my own Becoming Mama additions now included in my teaching. This has now evolved into bespoke Birth Preparation sessions - which can include Hypnobirthing techniques if you wish.
As a Midwife, Antenatal teacher and Hypnobirthing teacher, my passion is to support women in their choices and preparation for birth. Every pregnancy is unique, and your thoughts, previous experiences, worries and opinions matter. I am independent from any NHS Trust, and so am not bound by their (differing) guidelines and processes, enabling me to totally align myself to you as an individual.
Sessions could be focussed on your birth plan (and how to make it achievable), relaxation techniques, working on personal fears, preparing for any of homebirth, induction of labour, CSection or a birth outside of guidelines, debriefing on a previous birth experience and how to move forward to your next, navigating the time period of being "overdue", or indeed a full Hypnobirthing course.
AVAILABILITY FOR BIRTH PREPARATION SESSIONS FROM JUNE 2025
Becoming Mama offers a nurturing 6-Week baby massage course, designed to help promote bonding with your baby, give you the skills to massage with confidence, and to become part of your postnatal support network. Massage oil, Handout & WhatsApp group included.
All public courses held in Haddenham.

This is FREE parent & baby meet-up. Come along to a local venue every month, grab a coffee, and wake up for the week whilst chatting to fellow new parents!
Ad hoc feeding support available from Ellie (a separate, personalised session will be recommended if in-depth support is required).
Ellie was recommended to me by a friend and we luckily saw her when my daughter was only a couple of weeks old. She came to visit us in our home and I almost instantly felt safe and heard with her. She truly understood our specific situation and tailored a plan that was considered, knowledgable and felt achievable in our personal circumstances, and ultimately gave me hope would succeed. With her support, guidance and follow-ups in those following weeks (we tried everything and she never gave up on us!), I can now look back with genuine pride that I managed to successfully breastfeed for nearly 7 months despite a very challenging start. I genuinely don’t think I would have got to where I did without Ellie and I’m so glad that next time I can call on her before birth to feel as prepared as I possibly can be.
